Arran has a wealth of local produce making the island an ideal haven for foodies. You cannot come to Arran without sampling some of our local delicacies.

The Torrylinn Creamery, situated in Kilmory, supplies the island with Real Arran Cheese produced with milk from local cows.

The Island Cheese provides a wide range of cheeses, incorporating a mixture of flavours to create a truly unique flavour. The shop is located just outside Brodick at Home Farm with products including Arran's own blue cheese, soft cheeses and a range of flavoured cheddars. In the shop, customers can view the cheese makers at work as well as having the opportunity to indulge in the variety of samples out for you to try.

James's Chocolates is the island's chocolate factory in the centre of Brodick and is a definite must for both adults and children alike. With the small viewing gallery allowing you to watch the chocolates being made. The shop has an excellent variety of handmade chocolates to try. Go for the champagne and ginger, they are to die for!

Wandering along Brodick front, just passed the chocolate factory, you will come upon Wooley's - famous for Arran oatcakes and oaties. Along with the oaties, the bakery has a wide range of artisan breads and homemade pastries and pies.

Three miles south of Brodick is the small coastal village of Lamlash. Situated just outside the village is Arran Fine Foods. The factory produces a selection of delicious chutneys, mustards, preserves, honeys and salad dressings.

The Isle of Arran Distillery is to the north of the island at Lochranza and opened in 1995. It is home to award winning whiskys, open all year round for guided tours and tastings.

For beer lovers we have our very own brewery, Arran Brewery. Nestled just outside Brodick, in the perimeter of the Castle gardens, Arran's only microbrewery produces local award winning beers.
